SYLAP 2016 will be held from June 18 until July 30. We hope you will join us!
The Shoshone/Goshute Youth Language Apprenticeship Program (SYLAP) is a 6–week summer program for tribal youth hosted by the University of Utah’s Shoshoni Language Project. It offers students the opportunity to:
- • begin learning their heritage language in a for–credit university course,
- • work as a paid intern on language documentation and revitalization projects,
- • live on a university campus and learn about going to college.
